Phil Osborn

Phil has worked in the pub industry for over 30 years, beginning his career in pubs and nightclubs before taking on his own tenancy and later managing venues in both Chelsea and Richmond. He later became an Area Manager for a brewery based in Trowbridge, near Bath, overseeing a portfolio of 25 managed houses, including the Wishing Well group originally owned by Terry. When the brewery exited the managed house sector in 2000 Terry reacquired the Wishing Well sites and Phil joined him as Operations Manager. Together they expanded the group to 22 sites before the business was sold in 2003. Following the sale, Phil continued to work with the acquiring company in a consultancy role, specialising in the operational integration of the former Wishing Well pubs into their wider estate before returning to work alongside Terry in 2004. Phil & Terry then acquired Winchmore Hill together in 2007, followed by Barnet and Twickenham in 2008. As the estate has grown, Phil's role has evolved into a broader commercial and operational position, focusing on supplier partnerships, commercial strategy and operational systems across the Conexus Pub Group.
